Police Duty Gear

Police duty gear is essential for police personnel and good quality equipment is central to operating efficiently. Equipment includes belt equipment such as pouches and holders, leather products, police clothing, boots, torches, handcuffs and keys, batons and radio holders.

The police shop supplies a variety of belt equipment including duty belts manufactured by Price Western Leather (PWL). There are a wide range of pouches and holders available including notebook pouches, pen holders, general purpose pouches, glove pouches and mobile phone pouches. These are all manufactured to a high quality and supplied by brands such as Viper and PWL. One of our bestsellers is the PWL Cordura Notebook Pouch which has its primary compartment measuring 7” x 5” x 2”. In addition, there is a front pocket, which fastens with Velcro. On the reverse of the pouch is a significant belt loop, which allows it to stay securely attached to a belt.

Other police duty gear is concerned with keeping your equipment safe. To make sure that your keys are safe, there are a number of products on the market. For example the ZT Ultimate Metal Key Holder / Hook is ideal for retaining your keys. This is a high quality key hook that makes alternatives look weak in comparison and is supplied with a large key ring. This key holder is strongly constructed from steel and has a strong clasp at the front. The solid manufacture means that this key holder will remain in service for many years to come.

Other police duty equipment that is made to keep your kit safe and ready for action is baton holders and scabbards. We supply several brands of these including those made by ASP and PWL. The ASP baton scabbard firmly holds your baton in place and there are no catches or flaps to prevent accelerated withdrawal.  The inbuilt brake shoe ensures baton retention and stops a collapsed baton from extending. Add to this that the ASP baton scabbard can be rotated to 12 different positions to suit you, makes this a fantastic scabbard.

Other popular police duty kit includes handcuff keys. Our range of ZT handcuff keys for Hiatt and ASP handcuffs is superb. Within this range is the ZT handcuff key with window punch which features a high spec cuff key, together with a spring controlled window punch. This key fits standard, modern ASP and Hiatt chain linked and hinged handcuffs. As a result of the window punch, this key does not come with a double locking pin, which is a small price to pay considering its other features.
